　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　影片描写刚从电影学院毕业的学生阿格涅什卡，雄心勃勃，立志拍一部以50年代劳动模范砖瓦工人布尔库特为主角的传记性记录片作为自己的毕业论文。为了弄清楚主人公是如何成为劳动模范，后来被控告判罪，而最终又恢复名誉的曲折传奇的一生，阿格涅什卡进行了大量的调查和资料的搜集，还访问了当时历史发生时的一些关键人物。最后她找到布尔科特的儿子，得知这位曾经被称为大理石人的英雄已经死了。就连公墓的墓碑上都没有留下布尔库特的名字。“在格但斯克造船厂工人骚动期间，布尔库特丧了命。人们再也找不到他的任何痕迹。从此，大理石人就成了一个幽灵。”　　影片的题材颇为大胆，收场对主人公命运的说明曾遭剪刀伺候。旨在通过一个国家宣传机器制造模范工人的神话，揭露了压制自由的体制对人性的摧残和对纯真百姓的欺骗，用纪录片的风格展现了一个冷酷的现实，让人联想到70年代的状况。本片导致瓦依达多年被禁止拍片，但在数年后仍然拍出了续集（铁人）。

　　根据柳青小说《铜墙铁壁》改编。　　1947年春天，蒋介石匪帮调动了数十万兵力疯狂地进犯陕甘宁边区。当时，边区的军民在毛主席和党中央的领导下，主动撤出延安，屡次给疯狂的敌人以沉重的打击。7月间，我军为了诱敌北进，猛扑榆林城。这时保证数万野战军的粮食供应，便成为陕北人民争取胜利的主要任务。沙家店是米脂县的一个区，那里设立了粮站。到那里领粮的部队很多，粮站的粮食眼看供应不上了。曹区长、区委金书记为了克服这个困难，派民兵队长石得富到邻区去催粮。路途中，运粮队遇上敌机空袭，幸亏石得富镇静地指挥防空，才没有遭到大损失。这件事得到同路的葛专员称赞。葛专员路过沙家店视察备战情况，他特别提醒他们不但要管好粮站，还要照顾全面，组织群众做好备战工作，千万不能让群众遭到损失。金书记遵照葛专员的指示，决定把粮站交给石得富负责，另外找村里的石永公、疤虎、二木匠等人协助石得富。粮站工作交代妥当后，区干部就下乡去检查备战工作。战争形势迅速发展着，北上的敌人已经逼近邻县绥德。当时人心惶惶，石永公开始动摇，地主又乘机放火破坏，而粮站里还存着180多石粮食。怎样妥善地处理这些粮食呢?石得富便到离粮站30多里的镇川堡 支前委员会去请示葛专员。镇川堡当时正在紧张撤退中，从榆林南下的敌人已到堡外的河对岸。石得富见到了葛专员。葛专员指示石得富当夜发给野战军一百石粮食，剩下的必须在天亮前全部疏散到大路以北。最后，他告诉石得富：“虽然敌人几乎占了所有的县城，但毛主席仍然留在陕北……胜利很快就会到来的。”这消息给石得富很大的鼓舞，当下他便赶回沙家店。那一夜，大雨倾盆，山洪暴发，石得富等人在粮站里一夜未睡，等待着部队来运粮。天明前，接到葛专员的紧急通知，才知道运粮队因道路被山洪隔断不能来了，让他们就地动员群众疏散粮食。就在这一夜里，敌人占领了镇川堡并决定明日经沙家店进犯乌龙铺。饥饿的敌人到处搜刮粮食，并准备抢劫沙家店粮站。黎明，敌人的前哨部队已经接近村口，但是粮站里还有80多石粮食来不及疏散。石得富领导大家埋好地雷，即上山准备扰乱敌人。在最危急的时候，曹区长带领游击队前来支援，终于击退了企图抢粮的敌人。石得富等人连夜又下山去疏散粮食，疏散不及的，就在当地埋下。又过了紧张的一夜，粮食刚疏散完毕，敌人就进了村，疤虎在掩护粮队的战斗中壮烈牺牲。石得富忙着掩护石永公撤退，又赶回粮站找到石永公来不及拿走的粮账，当他刚把粮账掩藏在村外的悬崖下时，不幸受伤被敌人抓住了。敌军中粮食恐慌已到极点，匪军官以为抓住了石得富就能找到粮食，因此，加倍酷刑毒打逼问粮食去处。但是他们除了被石得富痛骂之外，一无所得。石得富虽受重伤，但仍坚持斗争。当夜，他便跟一起被捕的群众，杀死哨兵，逃出了虎口。当他来到悬崖下面，发现粮账依然埋在地下时，心里便像落下一块大石头。这时我军已开始了猛烈的反攻。石得富在沙家店山顶的战场上，见到了金书记和石永公等人。他把自己奋不顾身保存下来的粮账，小心地交给了金书记。西北战役终于获得了辉煌的胜利，它给全国大反攻创造了有利的条件。具有革命传统的陕北人民，又一次在革命战争史上写下了光辉的一页。

　　为了完成父亲的心愿，维克多（汤姆•汉克斯 Tom Hanks 饰）从故国乘坐飞机前往美国肯尼迪机场，但戏剧性的事情发生了：他被告知祖国发生政变，而他的身份证护照一一失效，同时他的签证也无法再使用。进退两难的维克多只有在机场滞留，等待新证件的办理。　　但是，他在机场等待了整整9个月。在这9个月里面，他用机场的洗手间洗漱，在候机室睡觉，他已经学懂因地制宜，在机场照料自己的生活，甚至还找了一份建筑工地工作。然而维克多的邋遢晦气却招来了机场负责人弗兰克（史坦利•图齐 Stanley Tucci 饰）的不满，而恐怕更令他气愤妒忌的是，美丽的空姐艾米利亚（凯瑟琳•泽塔-琼斯 Catherine Zeta-Jones 饰）竟然爱上了维克多。处在甜蜜中的维克多，也在慢慢观察机场的人生百态，自得其乐。
